Welcome to WhoIP.info!

My name is Laure Lemaire, and I created this site primarily out of personal need. Like many others, I often find myself needing to check IP addresses and understand potential masking signals (like those from VPNs or proxies). This project started as a way to build a tool for myself while learning more about how these technologies work.

WhoIP.info aims to provide clear and concise information about your connection, device, and browser, along with a simple scoring system to assess potential masking signals.

Future Plans

In the future, I hope to expand WhoIP.info with more useful tools, possibly including:

• Ping tests
• Internet speed tests
• Website availability checks
• Maybe even experimental location detection based on ping times.

While this is currently a personal project, I hope it becomes a valuable resource for others and perhaps eventually can support itself.
